Learn & Earn: Official Rules

1. What Learn & Earn Is

Learn & Earn is a monthly, skill-based leaderboard available to Premium (paid) students. Points are earned based on accuracy and speed across practice exam attempts, and bonus points are earned through successful referrals. The top-ranked students at the end of each monthly cycle may receive a cash prize, subject to the tiered prize pool established for the cycle.

2. Eligibility

• Open only to users with an active Premium account who have completed at least one exam attempt during the eligibility month.
• Standard / Free (unpaid) accounts can view the leaderboard but cannot earn points or win cash prizes.
• Employees, staff, tutors, and admins of Magspire are excluded from winning prizes to avoid conflicts of interest, though they may appear on demo accounts for testing purposes.
• Participants under 18 may participate and appear on the leaderboard; any cash prize owed to a minor will be paid to a parent or legal guardian, subject to identity verification.

3. How Points Are Calculated

Points are computed based on the following key metrics:

• Accuracy: your raw exam score contributes the primary share of your points for that attempt.
• Speed: time remaining when you submit (only counted if your accuracy is above the minimum threshold) contributes bonus points.
• Referral bonus: a flat bonus is credited to your running total each time someone you refer pays for Premium access and completes at least one exam attempt.
• Points accumulate across the month with no upper cap. There is no penalty for a single low-scoring attempt beyond simply earning fewer points on that attempt.

The scoring formula and leaderboard logic may be adjusted periodically to maintain platform fairness; material changes will be announced before a new monthly cycle begins.

4. Prize Payment

• Winners are contacted via the email address and/or phone number associated with their account within 7 business days of leaderboard announcement.
• Prizes are paid via bank transfer to a verified account nominated by the winner (or their parent/guardian, if the winner is a minor), subject to standard identity verification.
• Winners must respond to claim their prize within 14 calendar days of being contacted, after which the prize may be forfeited and reallocated at Magspire’s discretion.
• Taxes, levies, or statutory withholding obligations, if any, are the responsibility of the prize winner in accordance with applicable Nigerian tax laws.

5. Disqualification

A participant may be disqualified from the leaderboard and forfeit any prize if Magspire determines, at its reasonable discretion, that they have:

• Shared account credentials to inflate attempt counts;
• Used bots, scripts, or automated tools to take exams;
• Engaged in self-referral or collusion to fabricate referral bonuses;
• Otherwise violated the Academic Integrity Policy.

Disqualification decisions may be appealed by contacting contact.magspire@gmail.com within 7 business days of notification.

6. Right to Modify or Cancel

Magspire reserves the right to modify these Official Rules, adjust the scoring formula, change prize tiers, or cancel/suspend Learn & Earn at any time, including due to technical, legal, or regulatory requirements. Material changes will be announced before taking effect for a new monthly cycle; changes will not retroactively alter a cycle already in progress except where required by law or to correct a verifiable calculation error.
